Privacy Policy for Munchi

Munchi ("we", "us", or "the game") is a casual connect-and-fill puzzle available on mobile platforms and YouTube Playables. This Privacy Policy explains what information the game handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Game progress and settings

On Android and iOS, Munchi saves the following information locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us:

• Your level progress and completed puzzles
• App settings (such as sound and music preferences)
• Your in-game gem and hint balance
• Ad frequency counters (used to cap how often ads are offered)

This mobile data is removed when you uninstall the app.

On YouTube Playables, the same types of gameplay data may be saved through the YouTube Playables cloud-save service so your progress can be restored on supported devices. YouTube may associate that save with your signed-in YouTube account. We do not receive your YouTube account name, email address, password, or other login credentials. YouTube handles this information under Google's privacy policies.

2. Advertising

Munchi may offer optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for hints or gems, as well as interstitial ads at natural breaks between levels. On Android and iOS these ads are provided by Google AdMob. Within YouTube Playables, ads are requested through the YouTube Playables SDK and delivered by YouTube. To serve, measure, prevent fraud, and (where permitted) personalize ads, Google may collect and process:

• Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA)
• IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
• Device information (device model, operating system, and similar technical data)
• Ad interaction data (such as ads shown, taps, and completions)

3. What we do not do

• We do not operate a Munchi account system or require a separate Munchi login.
• We do not use any analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs of our own.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or microphone/camera data.

4. Your choices and controls

On iOS

When you first play, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track you (the App Tracking Transparency prompt). If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

On Android

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Settings › Google › Ads.

On YouTube Playables

You can manage Playables activity and saved game data through your YouTube History controls. Ad personalization can be managed in your Google account's advertising settings. Availability of particular ad formats may vary by account, region, device, and platform.

5. Children's privacy

Munchi is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app's advertising, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Data security and retention

Data transmitted to our advertising partner is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. On-device data remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the mobile app. Playables cloud-save and platform data are retained and managed by YouTube/Google according to their policies and your account controls. Advertising data is retained and managed by Google.

7. International users

Advertising data may be processed by Google on servers located in countries other than your own. Where required by applicable law (for example, in the EEA and UK), you may be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held about you by contacting us or Google.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
